These are some other items I have had up for auction and which have sold. The sun loungers sold on a very hot weekend and had 41 watchers. It was so exciting watching the bidding go up. I was lucky and got around £150.00 for the pair.
I've been sooooooo busy! I have set up an Ebay account. It's time to sell some of the lovely items I have collected over the years. Above is a sample of the things I have been selling; isn't that lampshade just gorgeous - look at that fringe, it was popular and had a lot of watchers and bidders. It is a lot of work but such fun.
Laura Ashley are selling American-style Boudoir Lamps for £70.00 each. I have an original pair of glass/lucite lamps which I adore. They have the original switches, and the original wiring. I cannot bear to have them up-dated; I love them just the way they are. I recently purchased new, Laura Ashley shades for them. Aren't they simply gorgeous?
I was wondering if they are easy to come by in America, I have never seen them here before.
I regularly host parties and gatherings and nearly always include a huge bowl of fresh fruit. So, when I saw this fabulous idea from ScrapScene I decided it will be my next party project, so much healthier than ice-cream.
Now, I'm not a big fan of decking (in fact I think I may have put it into 'Room 101' whilst playing the game with friends) however, I love this idea. To put my own twist on it I would use a vintage rug, purely because I have one that I am not using at the moment. However, I will have to wait for a sunny day - it's still far too unsettled here - before I can create my own version. This wonderful creation is from (sorry have lost the source but will definitely find it and let you know).
I have a greenhouse at the bottom of my garden. However, I have always wanted a little potting shed - they can look so pretty like the ones above. Which do you prefer or would you like both? All photos from Marshanna Fendley except the last one which is a feature in Ideal Home.
I recently blogged about a vertical garden for patios and balconies. Well, as they are quite expensive there was no way I was going to be able to purchase one. However, I was recently given a couple of wooden pallets and when I saw this vertical garden on 'Garden Delights' I thought it was a brilliant idea. So this is going to be one of my outdoor projects for spring - a vertical herb garden.
As the weather begins to warm, I cannot help but look forward to balmy days and nights eating breakfast, lunch and supper in open spaces rather than cooped-up indoors. Source: Future Party.com and Bed and Breakfast
